I noticed patterns along the way but the light didn't come on until I tried to homeschool him and couldn't. In third grade I noticed it took him hours to get through 30 minutes of school work. What really stood out for me was in second grade he wasn't passing the entrance exams in two different schools. The STAR is horrible for him. I'm realizing it's overwhelming for him to sit long periods of time and answer questions that are boring to him. He'd rather put down anything just to get through it. He's on medication but that only helps the symptoms, it doesn't get to the root of the problem. His brain processing skills are weak. I'm just beginning to help him, but I can't afford to go broke doing it. Can I get effective results just by using your home program. The STAR is coming up again this year and I'm considering opting out if he's going to be tortured with the same results. Sincerely, Jada Payton P.S.
