Hidden beneath poor grades and learning problems are some real processing weaknesses in the brain that cause children to fail and make learning and attention difficult (even for bright kids).
These weaknesses can be easily corrected to make reading, math, spelling and writing easier!
The poor grades, frustration sounding out words, skipping words, not remembering what was read, incorrect spelling (even for easy words), difficulty with times tables and story problems, inability to express ideas clearly on paper (even when ideas told out loud are fine) are only the symptoms of a deeper problem with the way the brain is processing information.
What’s sad, is that the problems with processing are easy and fast to correct – in fact, much easier and faster than tutoring or struggling together every night hour after hour trying to explain the information that wasn’t learned in class (as it should have been).
Your child doesn’t have to continue failing and losing self-esteem.
However, until you improve the processing skills, you will be investing in tutoring and spending nights in frustration trying to get your child caught up instead of having time to enjoy each other.
And, your child’s prospects for having unlimited options after high school will be greatly reduced.
The panic of struggling later in life can be easily resolved now, before it hurts your child’s self-esteem and future potential.
You can change it.
Your child can gain the skills for processing information efficiently. It can be easy to keep up and be successful in class because the information is being learned when it is presented by the teacher. Your child can be getting As and Bs in just a few months when you improve the brain processing that drives learning and attention.
Our Rising Star Program permanently improves processing speed for faster learning, decision-making speed for faster work-completion, reading and math (typical gains are a year and a half without any tutoring in just 12 hours of training). Work at home, or train at our center in Camarillo, CA.
You can check out Rising Star here.
Our Successful Student Now Program is a training for parents that pinpoints the actual processing problems that are the CAUSE of problems with attention, organization, reading, math, spelling, writing, comprehension, perceptual-motor skills, communication issues, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and other difficulties with learning, attention and behavior.
Learn more about how to assess your child at home here.
Hardy Reading begins with testing processing skills that determine reading success.
100% of students who have come into the center with reading weaknesses, who hating reading or are behind grade level either have a weakness in moving the eyes from left to right, problems with visual memory or difficulty with sounding and sequencing letters.
For some, the eyes jump back instead of moving forward smoothly.
This causes letters to be added to words, words to be read out of order and poor comprehension (because memory is erased when the eyes jerk).
For some, there is a problem moving smoothly down to the next line of print.
For some, there are difficulties with the ability to make a mental image of the words and information as it is read. This makes remembering the information difficult.
For some, sequencing the sounds in letters and matching the sound to a letter shape is the biggest problem.
What’s important is that when these simple processing problems are discovered and corrected, reading becomes easy. Your child will profit from instruction in class rather than continue to get further behind.
Continuing to practice reading skills without first correcting processing skills is like trying to put a roof on the building before you have put up the walls!
During the reading assessment at our center we will make a recording of how your child’s eyes actually move when reading.
When we put the recording up on the computer screen, you will be able to actually see the problems your child has with reading print from left to right.
We’ll measure phonemic awareness for sequencing sounds, check letter/sound recognition, comprehension and whether adding color will help your child read better. (We get a great improvement in many dyslexic children simply by adding a color overlay to their book).
Your choice of reading programs (both on-line and text format) will correct the reading issues quickly so you can save money on tutoring costs and end the burn-out from struggling every night on homework.
Hardy Math corrects the sequencing problems that struggling student’s lack. We use sensory based math programs, movement-based programs for learning math facts and hands-on methods for teaching story problem skills. Our fractions, percents, decimals, algebra and geometry programs use simple step-by-step instruction to give students mastery of every step before moving on so success is easy.
Hardy Spelling uses movement and bi-lateral integration techniques to teach spelling of sight words and grade-level words quickly and permanently so they will be stored and remembered.
Hardy Writing begins with sensory based writing formula to give students a life-long foundation for formulating ideas that will keep writing organized from elementary school to graduate school.
When you focus on solving your child’s reading, math, spelling and writing problems, your child can focus on feeling successful all through childhood.

My son has been diagnosed with ADHD at ten years old. I noticed patterns along the way but the light didn’t come on until I tried to homeschool him and couldn’t. In third grade I noticed it took him hours to get through 30 minutes of school work. What really stood out for me was in second grade he wasn’t passing the entrance exams in two different schools. The STAR is horrible for him. I’m realizing it’s overwhelming for him to sit long periods of time and answer questions that are boring to him. He’d rather put down anything just to get through it. He’s on medication but that only helps the symptoms, it doesn’t get to the root of the problem. His brain processing skills are weak. I’m just beginning to help him, but I can’t afford to go broke doing it. Can I get effective results just by using your home program. The STAR is coming up again this year and I’m considering opting out if he’s going to be tortured with the same results.
Sincerely,
Jada Payton
P.S. I’m a stay-at-home mom of three children and I don’t have a lot of money to spend but what money I do have I want to spend wisely in getting my son help and not just investing in another program that I can’t do effectively by myself.
